I have been modeling for quite some time
now and am slowly making the transfer into acting.
Unlike the majority of neo pin-up girls, I
am more fascinated with the 1920s as opposed to the 1940s and 1950s.
These time periods are absolutely juxtaposed to one another
although they were both so close to wartime.
The Roaring Twenties- even the name evokes great images of a time of
flaming youth,
rebellion and wild petting parties.
Girls smoked cigarettes, drank liquor, danced all night and drove cars
just like the boys!
Throwing off ones corset, chopping off your hair, and rolling down
stockings
to expose a rouged knee was absolutely shocking to people of the
time. I find that quite divine and revel in fancying myself a
Flapper Nouveaux.
I draw my inspiration from the seedy
Cabarets and peep shows of post-WWI Germany; decadent Victorian bordellos;
glamorous boudoirs of silent film stars; opulent Opium dens of the
Far East;
debauched 18th Century soirees; naughty French postcards;
the divinely decadent 1920s; the Glam scene of the 1970s; fresh faced
Liza Minnelli;
my personal hero and goddess- Marlene Dietrich and
a splash of the modern fetish scene.
I think I should be the "Muse of the Year" because of my avaricious
desire
to have yet another portrait sketched by Vinylya.
