Regulations Concerning
the Amateur Service- Published by the Bundesministerium fuer das Post -
und Fernmeldewesen - Prepared by the Fernmeldetechnisches Zentralamt
The following classes of emission may
be used by amateur stations subject to the provisions of 2.4:
2.4
Restrictive Provisions
2.4.1 Television and facsimile transmissions; telex traffic.
2.4.1.1 According to Article 7, the content of television and facsimile
transmissions shall be confined to subjects which amateur stations are
allowed to transmit. These transmissions shall not be of a broadcasting
nature, shall not contain any advertising and shall not be made
public. 2.4.1.2 For telex traffic below 146 MHz frequency
deviation shall be limited to 500 Hz when F1B is used and to 3000 Hz
when F2B is used.

Amplitude
modulation = emission in which the main carrier is
amplitude-modulated (including cases where sub-carriers are
angle-modulated)
Double-sideband,

In
the amateur service phase modulation may also be
used. In
individual cases the phase - modulated emission whose class of emission
corresponds to the frequency - modulated emission indicated in the
table may be used. The first basic characteristic "F" shall be replaced
in that case
by"G"(e.g.F1A=G1A). |
